GET AWAY FROM IT ALL... CLOSE TO THE BEST OF YORKSHIRE
A Home From Home
Woodmanwray Chapel is a new conversion of a Methodist Chapel first constructed in 1839.
It now offers two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, and a large open plan living and dining space downstairs. The well equipped kitchen and utility rooms are separate and there is a large light porch area from which to admire the views of open countryside.
The interior of the Chapel is all new, however it retains many original features and much charm.
In the Heart of the Yorkshire Countryside
Our location in peaceful Nidderdale really does offer the best of both worlds.
Situated in open countryside with sheep grazing in adjoining fields, it is possible to unwind completely and feel miles away from the stresses of everyday life. You can walk or cycle from the door or just relax in cosy and comfortable surroundings with a book or a DVD.
Close to the Best of Yorkshire's Attractions
However, if you choose to explore you will find that the Chapel is close to many of Yorkshire’s finest attractions and there is plenty to do whatever the weather or the time of year.
National Trust sites at Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey are close by. Nidderdale and nearby Wharfedale offer plenty of outdoor adventures for children and adults alike.
Elegant Harrogate and ancient York are both within easy reach if the weather is typically British!
